A3 (297 × 420 mm)
Full colour, hand drawn illustration
Pigment ink on 280gsm cotton rag paper
A colourful, painterly A4 portrait to celebrate the real star of your household, or the legendary pup of your loved one. Whether they’re a scruffy menace, a quiet soul, or just in it for the snacks, I’ll capture your dog’s true personality — side-eye and all.
Each piece is hand drawn, richly detailed and printed on archival cotton rag paper. So it’ll outlast their ability to pretend they didn’t hear you call them home from the park.
Printed with archival inkjet on 280gsm cotton rag paper, this fine art print is made to last. Perfect as a personalised gift or a timeless tribute to your four‑legged family member.
Made to order

Who
we are
Welcome to Loyal Barker, where every pup gets to be painted like the legends they are. I’m Britt, a trained contemporary artist, and this is Ernie, the loyal artists’ assistant. Inspired by the many excellent dogs that frequent Melbourne’s inner north parks, pubs, and cafés, Loyal Barker is my joyful side project where I’m aiming to draw all the pups in the neighbourhood (and beyond!).

Frequently asked questions
-
Send us a clear, well-lit photo of your dog — the better the photo, the better the portrait. I’ll hand-draw your dog's portrait from that photo, then print it as an archival fine art print on cotton rag paper. Every piece is made to order, one at a time, in my Brunswick studio.
-
Most portraits are completed and shipped within 10–15 business days of us receiving your photo.
-
A clear, in-focus digital photo taken in good natural light works best. Make sure your dog's face is clearly visible and not obscured by shadows, other pets, or people. Multiple angles are welcome if you're not sure which one will work best — we're happy to advise. Email all photos to loyalbarkerportraits@gmail.com

Portraits are available in A4 and A3, printed on archival cotton rag paper. We will be adding new products soon, keep an eye out!
-
Cotton rag paper is a premium, acid-free archival paper used by fine art printers and museums. Unlike standard photo paper, it won't yellow or fade over decades, so your portrait stays looking as good as the day it arrived.
